About Kristin
Welcome!
Kristin is a Tampa native, interior designer, and founder of Chateau & Co. Interiors. She is also a devoted wife, mother of three, and the proud caretaker of a lively household that includes two chihuahuas and three cats—an experience that strongly informs her belief that homes should be beautiful and livable.
Married to her college sweetheart, a U.S. Marine, Kristin spent 16 years as a stay-at-home parent navigating frequent military moves and life on a single income. Those years shaped her design philosophy: thoughtful choices, intentional spending, and creating maximum impact without excess.
With each relocation, Kristin designed and redesigned her family’s homes—first out of necessity, then out of passion. She honed her craft in real-world conditions: thrift stores, yard sales, clearance aisles, and the occasional roadside furniture rescue. She learned antiques, refinished furniture, sewed custom textiles, and mastered the art of achieving elevated design on a realistic budget. Expensive taste with limited resources isn’t easy—but it is a skill.
As friends and neighbors began seeking her guidance, what started as informal advice evolved into a trusted design practice. Chateau & Co. Interiors was born from that foundation.
Today, Kristin partners with clients to help them clarify their vision, define their personal aesthetic, and create spaces that reflect how they truly live. Her work is known for being curated, approachable, and highly personalized—resulting in comprehensive design plans that feel intentional, livable, and achievable at any budget.
